After seeing a shady looking robin with a cherry tomato in its mouth and some sketchy magpies around our garden, we decided that it was birds stealing our veggies and not a crazed homeless man. Our solution was these cages around the veggies. Worked really well until one morning we found a bird trapped in one of them and had to let him out. Birds are freaky smart.
